Jazalyn Gay

Nonprofit Consultant

Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Jazalyn has always felt a deep connection to the community she calls home. Her seven years in Atlanta, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Sociology, strengthened her passion for storytelling, strategic communication, and understanding the forces that help communities thrive.

Before joining Gateway, Jazalyn built a diverse professional toolkit through marketing, sales, content creation, and real estate. These experiences sharpened her organizational skills, honed her persuasive writing, and fueled her results-driven approach, all of which she now brings to grant consulting. She loves helping nonprofits tell their stories, showcase their impact, and secure the funding that allows them to make a meaningful difference.

Outside of work, Jazalyn enjoys creating memories with her family and her French bulldog, Saint. Whether wandering Georgia’s scenic hiking trails, exploring new corners of the world, or tending to her ever-growing plant collection, she treasures experiences that spark creativity, connection, and happiness.
